Year by year a concept of city break is getting more popular among Polish tourists. Right now, we wish to travel a lot more then only for the holidays. That is why, if longer weekend is coming, we can use that time to visit some nice metropolis in Europe.
Which area is worth to be visited?
Amsterdam
The capital of Netherlands is really famous nowadays, especially when plenty of Polish inhabitants move out there for work. Amsterdam is very amazing city, with great landscape and plenty of vanguard monuments. In there you will have a chance to go to Red Light District, that is entirely legal in this country. In there you can see pretty women standing by the glass and waiting for their clients. Another decent place to observe is Rijskmuseum, one of the largest art gallery in whole planet. It is famous mainly because of Dutch artists, like Rembrandt, van Eyck or even Bosch. When you’re fascinated by history you should not miss a tour to Ann Frank’s House. It’s a place, where this small child used to hide because of Germans during the last war. But also regular walk among the vintage area of an Amsterdam will be amazing experience. Entire city is filled with nice bridges, situated above wide river.

Budapest

Another great metropolis in to travel to is Budapest. That Hungarian place is filled with great buildings, designed in plenty different styles. First of all you have to for the trip to the old town, with amazing Royal Castle situated on a tall hill.
It was a main residence of Hungarian kings, now most of the chambers are available for guests. Next great building in this area of city is Fisherman Tower, amazing instance of Romanesque Revival epoque.
